Who home physiotherapy is for
Home visits suit patients who cannot travel safely or comfortably: the first weeks after knee or hip replacement, stroke and paralysis rehabilitation, advanced arthritis, older adults at risk of falls, and acute back pain where sitting in a car is unbearable.
For everyone else, the clinic is usually better, because the full electrotherapy and exercise setup is available.
