Senior Citizen Exercises
Regular exercise helps older adults stay strong, steady and independent. These exercises start with seated routines and build to supported standing strength, walking and balance, all chosen for safety.

How to use these exercises
Start seated if balance is a concern. Add standing exercises holding a counter, then walking and balance work. Aim for some activity every day and strength and balance at least 3 times a week.
When to see a physiotherapist first
If you've had falls, have heart or lung conditions, or recently left hospital, get an assessment first. We offer home visits.
Medical note
These instructions are general guidance, not a personal prescription. If you have a recent injury or surgery, a diagnosed condition, or symptoms such as numbness, weakness or dizziness, get assessed before starting. Stop and seek advice if pain increases sharply or you feel unwell.
