How it works
For uncomplicated pregnancy, WHO and obstetric bodies recommend at least 150 minutes of moderate activity a week, spread over several days, plus gentle strength work and daily pelvic floor exercise. Certain conditions require obstetric clearance first.

Physiotherapy treatment
Physical activity planning is the core of physiotherapy for pregnancy. After an assessment, your physiotherapist sets a plan built around walking, mobility and clinician approved strengthening, progressed as your results improve. Hands-on treatment, pain relief and education are added where they help.
