When the clinic is the wrong first step

There's a stage in many recoveries when travelling does more harm than good: the first weeks after a joint replacement, an acute disc flare, the early days after a stroke. Pushing through a car journey to reach treatment costs energy the body needs for healing. Starting at home and moving to the clinic later, if it's needed at all, is usually the better sequence.

Sector 93A is on the Expressway side of Noida, away from our fixed daily route from Indirapuram. Call first and we'll confirm availability and a regular slot before you book anything. Getting a new knee to bend

The most common problem after a knee replacement isn't pain. It's stiffness, and it's much easier to prevent than to fix. We see patients at ATS Greens Village from the first week after discharge, measure the bend at every visit and push it steadily, with ice and pain relief timed around the sessions. After a stroke

In the early months after a stroke, the aim is to get as much movement back as the brain will allow, while preventing the shoulder pain, stiffness and pressure problems that come with long hours in bed or a chair. In the flat at ATS Greens Village we work on sitting balance, standing, transfers and walking, in that order, and teach the family safe handling from the first visit. Getting to your flat

Most gated societies in Noida ask visitors to register at the gate. Tell us the tower, floor and flat when you book, and pre-approve the visit if your society uses a visitor app. For daily programmes we note it once, so every visit starts on time.

Treatments available at home

Larger equipment such as spinal traction, shortwave diathermy and laser therapy stays at our Indirapuram clinic. Some patients start at home and switch to clinic sessions once travel gets easier.
