Treatment at home, not a watered-down version

People sometimes assume home physiotherapy is the lighter option. For most problems it isn't. The bulk of good physiotherapy is assessment, hands-on work and progressive exercise, and all three travel well. Portable IFT, TENS and ultrasound cover pain relief. What stays at the clinic is the heavy equipment, and only a minority of patients need it.

Desk-related neck and back pain

A lot of the pain we treat in working adults has the same cause: eight or more hours at a laptop, often on a dining chair or a sofa. The neck drifts forward, the shoulders round, and by evening it aches. Treatment at home has one clear advantage for this. We see the actual setup, fix the screen height and chair on the spot, and give you a short routine you can do between calls. Our neck pain and lower back pain pages cover the longer-term plan. If the pain has been building for years, it may be cervical spondylosis, which needs a longer plan than a simple strain.

After a knee or hip replacement

Discharge after a joint replacement usually comes around day three to five, and the first two weeks at home decide a lot. The knee has to reach full straightening early, and bend past 90 degrees within a few weeks, or scar tissue starts to set the limit for you. Before the first visit

Share your tower and flat number when you book, and any visitor registration the society needs; if the gate uses an app, a pre-approval saves ten minutes at the entrance. Keep X-rays, MRI reports and discharge papers handy. You don't need a doctor's referral.

Treatments available at home

Larger equipment such as spinal traction, shortwave diathermy and laser therapy stays at our Indirapuram clinic. Some patients start at home and switch to clinic sessions once travel gets easier.
