Home Physiotherapy at Rockview Flats, Munirka
Rockview Flats is an apartment complex in Munirka.
Who we see at Rockview Flats
Most calls from Rockview Flats fall into three groups: parents recovering from a fall or a joint replacement, people with back or neck pain too sore to sit in a car, and patients home from hospital after a stroke or surgery. All three do well with treatment at home, because the journey is the part they struggle with most. Munirka is the furthest part of South Delhi from our Indirapuram clinic. We group visits here on scheduled days, so call a day or two ahead; for daily programmes we agree a fixed slot before the first session.
Getting to your home
Share the block and flat number; book a day or two ahead as Munirka is on our scheduled-day route. If the patient has a carer or attendant, it helps if they are home for the first visit so we can show them the routine.
Treating inside the flat
Apartment flats are rarely set up for exercise, but they do not need to be. We use a bed, a firm chair, a stretch of corridor and, where there is one, the stairwell. If the block has a lift, we still add stair practice before discharge from our care, so a lift outage does not leave someone stuck indoors.
Sports injuries
Runners and gym-goers in Rockview Flats often come to us with knee or ankle trouble: an ACL tear from football, a rolled ankle, or kneecap pain from mileage. Early rehabilitation can start at home with range and strength work before moving to the clinic for later-stage training. See sports physiotherapy and ACL rehabilitation exercises.
Cervical spondylosis and stiff necks
Cervical spondylosis shows up on most X-rays after 40 and does not by itself explain pain. What usually helps is restoring movement and strength in the neck and upper back. Early-morning and evening slots suit working residents in Rockview Flats; see cervical pain physiotherapy and neck exercises.
Coming home from hospital
For residents discharged from Fortis Hospital, Vasant Kunj or AIIMS, we can usually start in the first week at home. Share the discharge summary when you book. See post-surgical rehabilitation for how the programme runs.
Therapies we bring to Rockview Flats
Interferential therapy (IFT)
Eases deep back and knee pain so exercise is possible.
Ultrasound therapy
For tendon and shoulder problems where deeper tissue needs treating.
Cold therapy
Controls swelling after surgery or a fresh sprain.
Soft tissue mobilisation
Hands-on work for tight calves, hamstrings and back muscles.
Larger equipment such as spinal traction and shortwave diathermy stays at our Indirapuram clinic. Most South Delhi patients never need it; those who do usually start at home and add clinic sessions later.

Frequently asked questions
Do you visit Rockview Flats?
Yes, on scheduled days. Munirka is our furthest South Delhi route, so book a day or two ahead and we confirm the slot on the call.
Do I need to register the physiotherapist at the gate?
Only if the society asks for it. Share the block and flat number; book a day or two ahead as Munirka is on our scheduled-day route.
Can I ask for a female physiotherapist?
Yes, on request. See female physiotherapist at home.
How many sessions will I need?
It depends on the problem. A simple back strain may need 5 to 8 sessions, a knee replacement 4 to 8 weeks, and stroke rehabilitation several months. We give an estimate after the first assessment.
How long is each session?
Around 45 to 60 minutes. The first visit runs longer because it includes the full assessment and a written treatment plan.
What does a home visit cost?
A single home session is ₹800 to ₹1,200 depending on distance, condition and session length, with the first assessment included. Weekly and monthly plans cost less per visit; the details are on our Munirka home physiotherapy page.
Society details are based on public listings and may change. Physiosolution is an independent clinic based in Indirapuram and is not affiliated with any hospital, society or residents' welfare association named on this page.
