Home Physiotherapy at Front View Apartments, Kalkaji
Front View Apartments is a group housing society in Kalkaji with its own residents' welfare association.
Why home physiotherapy makes sense at Front View Apartments
For most problems, home physiotherapy is not the lighter option. Good treatment is assessment, hands-on work and progressive exercise, and all three travel. At Front View Apartments it also removes the hardest part of the first weeks: getting out of the house, into a car and through South Delhi traffic. Kalkaji is in central South Delhi, between Outer Ring Road and Nehru Place. We group visits here with our Sarita Vihar and Okhla route, so book a day ahead and we fix a regular slot for the rest of the plan.
Getting to your home
Share your block and flat number at booking, and any gate registration the RWA asks for. If the patient has a carer or attendant, it helps if they are home for the first visit so we can show them the routine.
Treating inside the flat
Apartment flats are rarely set up for exercise, but they do not need to be. We use a bed, a firm chair, a stretch of corridor and, where there is one, the stairwell. If the block has a lift, we still add stair practice before discharge from our care, so a lift outage does not leave someone stuck indoors.
Neck and shoulder pain from desk work
Long hours at a laptop show up as neck pain, tight shoulders and headaches. A home session in Front View Apartments lets us look at the desk and chair you actually use, not just your neck. Treatment is hands-on work plus a short routine of chin tucks and scapular retraction you can fit between calls.
Knee arthritis in older residents
Osteoarthritis of the knees is the commonest reason older residents in Front View Apartments stop walking to the market or the park. Pain relief helps, but strength is what keeps the knees working: straight leg raises, sit-to-stand and graded walking. See knee pain physiotherapy and knee osteoarthritis.
Coming home from hospital
For residents discharged from Indraprastha Apollo Hospital, we can usually start in the first week at home. Share the discharge summary when you book. See post-surgical rehabilitation for how the programme runs.
Therapies we bring to Front View Apartments
Cold therapy
Controls swelling after surgery or a fresh sprain.
Soft tissue mobilisation
Hands-on work for tight calves, hamstrings and back muscles.
TENS
Portable pain relief, useful in flare-ups and between visits.
Heat therapy
Loosens stiff joints and muscles before exercise.
Larger equipment such as spinal traction and shortwave diathermy stays at our Indirapuram clinic. Most South Delhi patients never need it; those who do usually start at home and add clinic sessions later.

Frequently asked questions
Do you visit Front View Apartments?
Yes. Visits to Kalkaji are pre-booked a day ahead and grouped with our Sarita Vihar and Okhla route, then kept at a fixed time for the rest of the plan.
Do I need to register the physiotherapist at the gate?
Only if the society asks for it. Share your block and flat number at booking, and any gate registration the RWA asks for.
Can a family member be present during the session?
Yes, and it helps. We show carers how to assist with transfers and exercises so practice continues between visits.
Can I ask for a female physiotherapist?
Yes, on request. See female physiotherapist at home.
What equipment does the physiotherapist bring?
Portable TENS, IFT and ultrasound units, hot and cold packs, exercise bands and assessment tools. Larger equipment such as traction and shortwave is at our Indirapuram clinic.
What does a home visit cost?
A single home session is ₹800 to ₹1,200 depending on distance, condition and session length, with the first assessment included. Weekly and monthly plans cost less per visit; the details are on our Kalkaji home physiotherapy page.
Society details are based on public listings and may change. Physiosolution is an independent clinic based in Indirapuram and is not affiliated with any hospital, society or residents' welfare association named on this page.
