Home physiotherapy, East of Kailash
Home Physiotherapy at Kailash Tower, East of Kailash
Kailash Tower is an apartment building in East of Kailash, near the National Heart Institute.
Why home physiotherapy makes sense at Kailash Tower
For most problems, home physiotherapy is not the lighter option. Good treatment is assessment, hands-on work and progressive exercise, and all three travel. At Kailash Tower it also removes the hardest part of the first weeks: getting out of the house, into a car and through South Delhi traffic. East of Kailash is in central South Delhi, between Outer Ring Road and Nehru Place. We group visits here with our Sarita Vihar and Okhla route, so book a day ahead and we fix a regular slot for the rest of the plan.
Getting to your home
Tell us the floor and flat number; for daily visits we keep the entry details on file so there is no delay at the gate. If the patient has a carer or attendant, it helps if they are home for the first visit so we can show them the routine.
When the lift is the only way down
In a tower, a patient who cannot manage stairs depends entirely on the lifts. That works until one is under maintenance or the power backup struggles. After a hip or knee replacement, spinal surgery or a stroke, we start stair practice earlier than we would in a low-rise building, so that a lift outage does not leave you stuck on your floor.
Hip surgery and the first weeks home
After hip surgery, the rules on bending and crossing the legs depend on the operation. We check the surgeon's instructions, then set up the bed, chair and toilet in your Kailash Tower home so the precautions are easy to follow. Post hip replacement exercises and gait training take it from there; geriatric physiotherapy covers the wider plan.
Keeping older parents walking
Many households in Kailash Tower have parents in their seventies and eighties. Weak legs, poor balance and fear of falling feed each other: the less someone walks, the weaker they get. Geriatric physiotherapy at home breaks that cycle with strength and balance training built around their own rooms and stairs. Senior exercises lists safe starting points.
Coming home from hospital
For residents discharged from National Heart Institute or Indraprastha Apollo Hospital, we can usually start in the first week at home. Share the discharge summary when you book. See post-surgical rehabilitation for how the programme runs.

Frequently asked questions
Do you visit Kailash Tower?
Yes. Visits to East of Kailash are pre-booked a day ahead and grouped with our Sarita Vihar and Okhla route, then kept at a fixed time for the rest of the plan.
Do I need to register the physiotherapist at the gate?
Only if the society asks for it. Tell us the floor and flat number; for daily visits we keep the entry details on file so there is no delay at the gate.
Can I ask for a female physiotherapist?
Yes, on request. See female physiotherapist at home.
How many sessions will I need?
It depends on the problem. A simple back strain may need 5 to 8 sessions, a knee replacement 4 to 8 weeks, and stroke rehabilitation several months. We give an estimate after the first assessment.
How long is each session?
Around 45 to 60 minutes. The first visit runs longer because it includes the full assessment and a written treatment plan.
What does a home visit cost?
A single home session is ₹800 to ₹1,200 depending on distance, condition and session length, with the first assessment included. Weekly and monthly plans cost less per visit; the details are on our East of Kailash home physiotherapy page.
Society details are based on public listings and may change. Physiosolution is an independent clinic based in Indirapuram and is not affiliated with any hospital, society or residents' welfare association named on this page.
