When the clinic is the wrong first step

There's a stage in many recoveries when travelling does more harm than good: the first weeks after a joint replacement, an acute disc flare, the early days after a stroke. Pushing through a car journey to reach treatment costs energy the body needs for healing. Starting at home and moving to the clinic later, if it's needed at all, is usually the better sequence.

Visiting Arihant One

Sector 1 is on our regular Greater Noida West route, so visits run on fixed slots rather than on-demand call-outs. Once a slot is confirmed, the first visit is usually within 2 to 4 hours, and a daily programme keeps the same time each day. Children's physiotherapy at home

Young children often do better with physiotherapy at home, where they're relaxed and their own toys can be part of the session. We see children at Arihant One for developmental delay, cerebral palsy and orthopaedic problems, and show parents how to fold the exercises into play. More on pediatric physiotherapy. After a knee or hip replacement

Discharge after a joint replacement usually comes around day three to five, and the first two weeks at home decide a lot. The knee has to reach full straightening early, and bend past 90 degrees within a few weeks, or scar tissue starts to set the limit for you. If you've come home to Arihant One from Yatharth Hospital in Noida Extension or anywhere else, we start with swelling control, walker training and the exercises in your discharge sheet, then build range and strength at every visit. If the knee was worn by osteoarthritis for years before surgery, the thigh muscles are usually weak too, and rebuilding them is half the programme.

Getting to your flat

Most gated societies in Greater Noida West ask visitors to register at the gate. Tell us the tower, floor and flat when you book, and pre-approve the visit if your society uses a visitor app. For daily programmes we note it once, so every visit starts on time.

Equipment that comes to your flat

Larger equipment such as spinal traction, shortwave diathermy and laser therapy stays at our Indirapuram clinic. Some patients start at home and switch to clinic sessions once travel gets easier.
