Home physiotherapy, Ahinsa Khand
Home Physiotherapy at Orange County, Indirapuram
Orange County in Ahinsa Khand 1 is an ABA Corp complex of about fourteen high-rise towers with two, three and four-bedroom apartments and penthouses, set in landscaped grounds with a jogging park and an acupressure walking path. It's in the same khand as our clinic.
Why home physiotherapy makes sense at Orange County
The clinic is in the same khand, but after surgery or during a bad flare of back pain, even a short trip is a lift ride, a walk to the car park and a drive. Home physiotherapy means treatment starts on the day you need it, in your own flat, and the switch to clinic sessions happens when travel stops being an effort rather than on a fixed date.
At home we also work with your real surroundings: your bed, your bathroom, your lift and the complex's own walking paths. Rehab that happens where you live tends to stick, because the exercises fit into the day you actually have.
Getting to your flat
Give us your tower and flat number when booking, and register the physiotherapist's name at the main entry if the society requires it. For daily programmes we keep the details on file so each visit starts on time.
Grounds that help rehabilitation
The jogging park is ideal for the later stages of rehab: timed walks, turns and gradual increases in distance, all within the complex. The acupressure walking path adds an uneven surface that challenges balance, which is useful once walking is steady. One caution: textured and pebble paths aren't suitable for people with reduced feeling in their feet, such as diabetic neuropathy, because small injuries can go unnoticed. We'll tell you whether it's right for you.
Lifts, stairs and high floors
In a high-rise tower, stair practice still matters after surgery, even if you never plan to use the stairs. A lift under maintenance shouldn't leave you confined to the flat. We build it into the programme early. See stair training.
The pool
If you use the society pool, water walking can be a gentle way to build strength once wounds have fully healed and your doctor agrees. We can suggest a simple programme to go alongside land-based exercise.
Therapies we bring to Orange County
Interferential therapy (IFT)

Kinesio taping

For treatments that need larger equipment, such as Tecar therapy, laser therapy and robotic spinal decompression, the clinic in Ahinsa Khand 1 is close by. Many patients combine the two: home visits while travel is hard, then clinic sessions for the equipment.

Frequently asked questions
Is home physiotherapy as effective as clinic treatment at Orange County?
For most orthopaedic, post-surgical and neurological problems, yes. Equipment-based treatments such as Tecar, laser or spinal decompression are at the clinic in the same khand.
Is the acupressure path good for my feet?
For most people with steady walking it's a useful balance challenge. It isn't suitable if you have reduced sensation in your feet, for example from diabetes, so ask us first.
How far is the clinic from Orange County?
Both are in Ahinsa Khand 1, so the clinic is a short drive or rickshaw ride away.
What equipment does the physiotherapist bring?
Portable TENS, IFT and ultrasound units, a muscle stimulator when needed, hot and cold packs, exercise bands, mobility aids and assessment tools. Larger equipment such as traction and shortwave is at the clinic.
How quickly can a physiotherapist come?
Requests made before 4 pm are usually seen the same day, typically within 60 to 90 minutes. For daily neuro or post-surgical programmes we fix a regular time slot.
What does a home visit cost?
A single home session is ₹800 to ₹1,200 depending on distance, condition and session length, with the first assessment included. Weekly and monthly plans cost less per visit; the full breakdown is on our Indirapuram home visit page.
